My biggest takeaway is learning how to navigate the photoshop interface and all its features beyond brush tools. I learned how to make better shapes and patterns and beautiful gradients to decorate things like posters and cards. I Also learned why photoshop is so important.

 

 

 

From what I notice, when playing around with the fill and the opacity, they look the same when putting a dark rectangle behind them.  

  Flattened layers have a lock symbol while merged layers don't!

 

  You can tell an image is embedded if it has a little paper icon. If it's linked, the has a chain icon.
